Facilities Associate – Part Time

Commodity Forwarders is looking for a part-time Facilities Associate. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate at $17/hr. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Honolulu Branch. Job duties: Responsible for maintaining the workplace by fixing broken instruments, cleaning the surroundings, etc. Responds to maintenance requests from staff – such as fixing light bulbs, sweeping main entrance/surrounding areas Conducts daily, monthly, semi monthly, semi-annual and annual facility check ups – to include checking fire extinguisher dates, painting safety poles, replacing refrigeration curtains, etc. Keeps an inventory of supplies including maintenance and office supplies Able to operate a forklift – both manual and electric pallet jack Comfortable adding notes within internal CFI system Must be able to communicate issues to management team Maintenance person will not perform plumbing or electrical work or major repairs, this will be outsourced.
