Role Description We are seeking a skilled Web Application Pentester for a full-time hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, with flexibility for some remote work. The Pentester will assess the security of web applications through penetration testing, identify vulnerabilities, create detailed reports with mitigation strategies, and collaborate with development teams to improve application security. The role also involves staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to ensure the organization is well-equipped to counter potential risks. Qualifications Extensive knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability assessment, and ethical hacking practicesStrong expertise in web application security and familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Kali LinuxExperience in risk assessment, threat modeling, and identifying security gaps in applicationsProficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, or similarUnderstanding of network protocols, web technologies, and security frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10)Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independentlyBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceRelevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GIAC are a plus
