Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will Do: Perform a variety of hand and machine fusion welding (Mig and Tig) operations to construct powder containers at a higher skill level.Perform routine maintenance work on equipment with little to no supervision to optimize uptime.Prepare all parts to be fitted together for fabrication, i.e., grinding, polishing, and cleaningFabrication of stainless steel extrusion cansSealing and preparing cans for shipmentComply with all company rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skillsSupport the cell's continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipmentBasic level computer skills (General use of Microsoft Office)Clear understanding of shop mathematics involving decimals and fractions.Requires a working knowledge of fusion welding processes and terminology.Ability to work alone with little to no supervision Ability to problem solve minor fabrication & equipment issuesQualifications You Must Have: High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience.Must have a strong attendance recordMust have excellent interpersonal communication skillsMust be able to work hours outside of the regular shiftMust have good mechanical aptitudeMust be able to wear a respiratorThe position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.Role Type: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
