Quality Manager

Talint's client is a growing and respected provider of safety and quality management consulting and services in the construction industry to both government and commercial clients.We are looking for a Quality Manager for multiple construction projects in the Washington DC Metro area for their client. The right candidate will have at least ten years of quality management experience in a construction environment AND either be a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or be an ISO 9001 trained Lead Auditor.Desired Skills and Experience:Four-year degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Management or related field;Minimum 10 years of quality management experience in a construction environment with a minimum of 5 years of performing QA/QC Auditing;American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification as a CQA or has been trained as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor;Experienced in establishing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems, and performing compliance audits in the construction, transportation and/or transit industry;Familiarity with Federal Transit Agency's (FTA) Quality requirements;Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why this company?Competitive pay rates;Incredible opportunities for career growth;Secure and diverse positions to showcase your talents;Benefits package with medical, dental, vision, and 401K plan.Responsibilities:Perform as the Contractor's Quality Management Representative;Responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for the project;Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System;Responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management System is effective in ensuring that the Contract requirements are satisfied;Responsible for the oversight of onsite and offsite testing by the Contractor.
