Gastroenterology Physician

ALTON, IL:Must have an IL license. Mon-Fri clinic We would like providers to cover overnight weekday call while they are here. must have a minimum of 2 weeks a month of availability There will be EDGs and in-house consults for stable GI issues as well, but mostly colonoscopies. They would be in the GI lab 4 days doing procedures and in the clinic office seeing patients 1 day. Each day would be 8-9 hours. In terms of volumes, they like to schedule 12-13 procedures on lab days and around 20 patients on clinic. There would also be inpatient rounding each day, as needed. We are only a 49 bed hospital so the inpatient volumes are not extraordinary. A minimum of 2 weeks per month (10 days) but will also take full time . Primarily performing procedures in GI lab but also will see patients in clinic and round on inpatients as needed.Full time APP in GI clinic Primarily performing procedures in GI lab but also will see patients in clinic and round on inpatients as needed. We usually try to schedule 10-14 cases per day in the lab or 25-30 patients per day in clinic. Must be able to perform the following for consideration.: scopes for bleeds, EGDs, routine colonoscopies, and treat bleeders in the esophagus.
