Apply now!!!Recruitment, Relocation, and Student Loan Incentives may be authorized.2026 Salary Range ($89,508-$138,370) YearlyJob Open Date 04/30/2026Job Close Date 05/13/2026Who May Apply: U.S. CitizensIn this position you will serve as the installation Integrated Prevention Chief and second level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Integrated Resilience Office at an Air Force/Space Force installation. The Integrated Prevention Chief leads the development, implementation and evaluation of all prevention and resilience efforts. Serves as the key subject matter expert ensuring all installation prevention partners, leadership, and the community understands risk and protective factors associated with self-directed harm and prohibited abusive or harmful acts from a public health perspective. This position is responsible for overseeing consistent and reliable information to inform strategies, policy, and program evaluation. Collaborates and integrates primary prevention efforts in areas such as sexual assault, family violence (incl. intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect), workplace violence (incl. harassment, bullying and hazing), suicide, and alcohol abuse/misuse prevention.RequirementsU.S. CitizenshipObtain & maintain a Security clearanceThe employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary dutyMay require work outside normal duty hoursMust obtain, maintain, and renew credentialing as required by the DoD Board of Prevention Credentialing specified in DoD and DAF policy.This position requires a high degree of discretion in relation to sensitive information of which the incumbent is awareRecruitment Knowledge Skills And Abilities1. Comprehensive and professional knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies as well as behavioral, social science and/or public health practices principles and theories relating to prevention and resilience.2. Thorough knowledge of a wide range of delivery systems relating to prevention and resilience and the multiple uses of such systems.3. In-depth knowledge of DAF culture, military family dynamics, related professional fields, and a thorough knowledge of the DAF community and the unique challenges that DAF families face; or equivalent knowledge.4. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.5. Ability to analyze, plan, organize, and direct work operations to meet program requirements and objectives with available resources; mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization.6.
