Electrical Technician
Position Summary
High Bridge Solutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support its growing Engineering and Test team. The preferred candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, debugging, and repairing electrical circuits and assemblies and the fabrication and testing of cable and harness assemblies from Built-to-Print drawings and specifications. Experience with circuit card assembly, electrical assembly and sub-assembly wiring, and the integration and test of system components is also required. The ideal candidate will support engineering and manufacturing teams by building, troubleshooting, and verifying electrical assemblies and systems are built and operate in accordance with all documentation to ensure high-quality, reliable products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and repair of electronic circuits and assemblies
- Build, assemble, and test cable and wire harnesses per engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, Wire Lists, and specifications
- Perform circuit card assembly (CCA) and functionality test, including soldering of through-hole and surface mount components
- Perform wiring, system integration, and functional testing of electrical systems and subassemblies
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Document test results, failures, and corrective actions
- Support engineering during prototype builds and design validation testing
- Follow ESD, safety, quality, and workmanship standards (IPC, J-STD, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electronics or Electrical Technology
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical or Electronics Technician
- Strong experience with circuit testing, debugging, repair, harness assembly, circuit card assembly, wiring, assembly, and system integration and test
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Proficiency using standard electrical test equipment
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial electronics environments
- Experience supporting engineering prototype and low-rate production builds
RF and Semi-rigid cable assembly and test
- Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance
Travel
- CONUS travel may be required
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
