POSITION OVERVIEW Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will prepare, package, and distribute medications in an automated refill and production setting. This role requires focus, accuracy, and consistency to meet daily production goals while maintaining strict patient safety and compliance standards. Technicians must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, following standardized processes, and working both independently and within a team environment. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Location: West Sacramento, CA Pay: $26/hour Schedule: • Monday-Friday to start • After ~4 weeks, schedule may shift to Sunday-Thursday § Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM § Monday-Thursday: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM • Overtime: Mandatory OT may be required KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules by reading computergenerated screens, locating merchandise, verifying strength and dosage, and performing basic calculations • Replenish automated dispensing cells, scan barcodes, and enter lot/expiration data using handheld scanners • Perform quality assurance checks to prevent crosscontamination and identify expired or damaged products • Complete weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory audits and discrepancy resolution • Prepare and pack cold chain and specialty medications following specific handling requirements • Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions while complying with HIPAA, federal, and state regulations • Identify workflow or product issues and escalate concerns appropriately to management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education & Certification • High School Diploma or equivalent • Active CA Pharmacy Technician License (Required) • PTCB National Certification (Preferred) Experience • At least 1 year of experience in pharmacy, retail, or customer service • Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a highvolume production environment • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks Apply Today If you're a licensed Pharmacy Technician ready to bring precision, focus, and reliability to a production pharmacy setting, Adecco Healthcare wants to hear from you.
