Recreation Attendant

Spend your summer at The Boathouse & Field Club as a Recreation Attendant! We are seeking reliable and guest-service oriented individuals to join our team. As a Recreation Attendant, you will engage families poolside, during special events, and in our kids’ area – the Yurt! Approximate dates for this position are June 15, 2026 through September 7, 2026. Pay Rate: $18/hour *Housing may be available, but is limited* Responsibilities Extend a warm welcome to members as they enter the pool area; making sure they are provided with towels and other amenities Ensure safety as you implement our swim test policy and enforce pool deck rules Launder, fold, and organize towels to keep the towel hut supplied Assist with pool opening/closing procedures as well as additional tasks, such as cleaning pool area, setting up cabanas, and keeping all areas neat and organized Be prepared to assist with First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, providing peace of mind to members. Assist with afternoon crafts and activities in The Yurt for our Junior Members Create lasting memories for our members at special events like the 4th of July Pool Party, Summer Carnival, and more! Qualifications Must be 17 years or older High school diploma Friendly, positive, energetic personality Experience working in the hospitality/resort industry highly preferred Experience as a camp counselor or in childcare highly preferred Ability to think critically and effectively problem solve both individually and with a team Must show excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work with or without supervision Commitment from mid-June to Labor Day preferred Ability to work in a standing or walking position for extended periods of time Ability to lift 50 lbs.
