Structural Engineer
Day to day:A Luxury homebuilder is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to design and support residential wood-framed and CMU structures. This role will independently develop structural designs, calculations, repair details, and sealed engineering documents while collaborating with Architecture, Operations, Purchasing, and other internal teams.Perform structural engineering calculations for residential projects.Design wood-frame and CMU structural systems.Prepare repair details, reports, and engineering letters.Coordinate structural plans with truss layouts and architectural drawings.Seal structural plans, details, and repairs as required.Conduct site visits and work with building officials.Research and interpret building codes and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and construction challenges.MUST HAVES:PE License (FL license preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering4 years of engineering experienceResidential wood, concrete, and CMU design and constructionAdvanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and applicable building codes and design principlesHourly Rate starting at $60hr
