Tongal is the proven platform where the world's leading brands and entertainment companies collaborate with creators to produce premium content for every screen. We are seeking a Director of New Business to drive sales and grow Tongal's overall revenue and customer base. This person will manage all aspects of the sales process, including active prospecting, qualification, evaluation, closing deals, expanding accounts, and will play an integral role in the success of the overall Business Development team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain prospect and customer target listDevelop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and move multiple transactions simultaneously through the pipeline to closeManage prospective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycleOriginate new business opportunities through in-depth conversations and relationship buildingManage and track customer interaction and transactional information in a CRM systemCoordinate pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycleLead presentations, product demonstrations and general support to prospective customersMaintain customer relationships post-close and drive adoption and usageExecute land-and-expand sales strategies to grow existing account sizeProvide regular reporting of prospecting, pipeline and forecast through the CRM systemKeep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and productsPractice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staffTravel to customer locations in support of sales efforts as neededAttend conferences, summits, and client gatherings to further client relationships and drive new sales opportunities and incremental revenuePlan & strategize marketing activities with MarketingRequirements8+ years enterprise sales experience. Minimum 6+ years of experience selling into marketing organizations. Background in content or creative platforms is a big plusExisting book of business and deep customer relationships within the marketing organizations of the Fortune 500Proven overachievement of sales goals in a large geographic territoryExpertise at an enterprise level, can navigate a large and complex marketing organization to identify the key decision maker and, ultimately, "drive the deal"Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in Tongal's missionUnderstand the need to work as a team for everyone to be successful.
