Read below for more details.As an EP Lab RN, you'll work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in the EP lab providing assistance to the physician, including maintaining and monitoring of equipment, as well as assisting with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.As an EP Lab Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Learn complex technologies effectivelyAssist physicians with procedures that diagnose and treat heart rhythm problemsAssist with ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, cardioversions, loop recorder implants and moreAssist with diagnostic studies such as cardiac mapping and EP studiesEP Lab Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.
