Survey Project Manager
The Survey Project Manager is responsible for leading land surveying projects from proposal through delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. This role combines technical survey expertise with project management, client coordination, and team leadership. The individual will oversee both field and office operations while maintaining compliance with applicable surveying standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities Develop scopes of work, prepare cost proposals, and assist with contract negotiations Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and agency representatives Supervise, mentor, and develop survey staff and technicians Oversee quality control for all survey deliverables Review and approve survey calculations, plats, exhibits, and reports Coordinate field crews and office production to meet project deadlines Ensure compliance with municipal, state, and national survey standards Required Qualifications Active Registered Land Surveyor (RLS / PLS) license Minimum 10 years of progressive land surveying experience Strong knowledge of: Public Land Survey System (PLSS) ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys Boundary survey standards Municipal and state survey requirements Proficiency with Trimble Business Center Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Demonstrated experience overseeing field and office survey operations Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience Managing survey teams in a consulting engineering environment Clientfacing project leadership QA/QC responsibility on complex survey projectsBenefitsVacation/PTOMedical & Dental - Company pays 100% of employeeVisionBonus - Competitive based on company/department/individual performance401K with company matching Email Your Resume In Word ToJason.Styczen@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
