Job Title: Cardiovascular TechnicianLocation: New York, NYDuration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)Schedule: 8 Hours/Day | 5 Days/WeekNote: RCIS is Preferred not requiredCompensation:Local Pay rate: $70/hrTravel Pay:Overall Weekly Pay: $2,982.89W2 Hourly Pay Rate: $29.5Weekly Stipend: $1,876.64Requirements:• High School Diploma or GED required • Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Technician experience • RCIS certification preferredJob Summary:The Cardiovascular Technician supports cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures by monitoring patient status, operating specialized equipment, and assisting physicians during procedures. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.Key Responsibilities:• Monitor patient vital signs, intracardiac pressures, and catheter positioning during procedures• Record and maintain accurate procedural data within the Cardiac Cath Lab system• Operate and calibrate equipment including A-Vox, Cardiac Output, ACT, and intra-aortic balloon pumps• Assist physicians with catheters, wires, balloons, stents, and other procedural equipment• Process and analyze procedure-related data and reports• Support emergency interventions including defibrillation, suctioning, and resuscitation measures• Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and perform preventive equipment maintenance• Set up sterile fields, instruments, and procedure rooms for cardiac catheterizations• Communicate equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to leadership promptly
