Position: Offset Sheetfed PressmanLocation: Garner, NCPay: $30 to $38/hour (Depending on experience)Experience: At least 2 years as a Pressman or 5 to 7 years as a Second Pressman (Required).Education: High School Diploma.Type: Full-time; Direct HireSchedule: Rotating Night Schedule, 5:30pm to 5:30amGreene Resources is seeking an Offset Sheetfed Pressman to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Make ready and operate the offset printing press to meet production requirements.Review job orders for specifications, including quantity, stock type, colors, and special instructions.Examine and repair printing plates or notify the supervisor of unrepairable defects.Adjust and regulate press settings, including ink flow, cylinders, and feeder/delivery mechanisms.Monitor printed output for ink density, registration, and overall quality, making adjustments as needed.Replace worn rollers, adjust pressure, and perform maintenance using hand tools.Train, lead, and supervise press crew members to ensure that quality and safety standards are met.Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and safe operation of press equipment.Follow all company safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.Position Requirements:Must have sheetfed experience.At least 2 years as a Pressman or 5 to 7 years as a Second Pressman (Required).Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.In-depth knowledge of press mechanics and operations.Ability to accurately distinguish color variations and maintain quality control.Skilled in running, adjusting, and maintaining press equipment.Ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.Dependable, reliable, and able to work collaboratively in a press crew.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.Greene Resources is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
