Our CPG client is building out its commercial team from their Chicago base, and they need a seasoned Key Account Manager to help lead the charge in the better-for-you space.This is a rare chance to join at an inflection point and shape how a portfolio of beloved brands scales across natural, specialty, and grocery channels nationwide.What You'll DoDevelop and execute short- and long-term customer, category, and regional growth strategiesOwn account-specific business plans with a sharp focus on innovation and incremental growthAchieve NOI, net sales, and trade spend budget targets with full P&L accountabilityLead and manage a network of brokers and distributors across the U.S.Partner closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, customer service, and finance teamsProvide accurate product forecasts to support manufacturing and planningManage trade spend efficiently, continuously improving ROILeverage customer POS data to drive category leadershipRepresent the company at customer meetings and key trade eventsRequired Channel ExperienceUNFI - KeHE - Whole Foods Market - Sprouts - NCG (Natural Grocers Co-op) - INFRA (Independent Natural Food Retailers Association)Qualifications5+ years consistently exceeding sales targets in a key account environmentDeep natural and specialty channel expertise (required)Proven broker and/or distributor management experienceStrong financial and business acumen; comfortable owning the P&LBachelor's degree in business or equivalent experienceProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Cognos, SPINS, IRI, and/or Retail LinkExceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsHigh sense of urgency with a results-first mindsetAbility to travel throughout the U.S.Why This RoleYou'll be joining at a pivotal growth moment, actively building market presence.
