We are seeking a Discovery Clerk to provide essential support to our litigation team by managing and tracking discovery materials throughout the life of a case. What You’ll Do:Organize and maintain discovery files, both electronic and physical.Log, track, and manage incoming and outgoing discovery documents, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.Assist with the preparation, formatting, and production of discovery responses.Review, index, and organize medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.Coordinate with clients, medical providers, and third parties to obtain required records and documentation.Monitor discovery deadlines and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure compliance.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures.What You Bring to the Table:Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.Clear verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with legal terminology and discovery processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (e.g., Needles, Filevine, Litify, or similar) Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environmentBonus Points For:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience handling medical records or legal documents preferred.Experience working in a Connecticut law firm or familiarity with Connecticut court procedure preferred.
