Cactus Wellhead - Assembly TechnicianThis is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in DuBois, PA.Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of tasks to assemble and test all Cactus or customer products.Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify functioning and conformance to requirements.Position and/or align components for assembly, manually or using hoistsVerify parts clearances and fit upAdjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and to ensure proper operation.Read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals.Maintain and lubricate parts or componentsRemove rough spots and smooth surfaces to fit, trim or clean parts, and use of hand tools or power tools.Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.Education, Training, Experience: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None required.Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of Quality System.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularlyStand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)Climb stairs and laddersBend, stoop, kneel, and reachWork in confined spaces when requiredOperate heavy equipment and power toolsPerform repetitive movementsEnvironmental Conditions:Exposure to extreme weather conditionsExposure to loud noise levels requiring hearing protectionWork in high places and confined spacesExposure to dust, fumes, and chemicalsWork around moving mechanical partsWork in hot and cold temperaturesSafety Requirements:Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Follow all safety protocols and proceduresParticipate in regular safety trainingComplete required safety certificationsComply with all environmental regulationsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.This position may require:Pre-employment drug screeningBackground checksMedical examinationsSafety certificationsValid driver's licenseAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)Working in various weather conditionsTravel to remote locationsCactus Companies maintains a drug-free workplace and participates in E-Verify.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
