Full of energy and drive, we are committed to continuing to re-invest in ourselves, our team (The Freemen Family) and the clients we serve.Position: Sales ExecutiveMarket Segments: CPG including Nutraceutical, Food & Beverage, Pet Food, Sports Nutrition, and Premix segmentsReporting to: Director of Sales - TerritoryLocation: Remote Type: Full TimeFSLA Status: Salaried ExemptThe OpportunityAs a Sales Executive at Freemen Nutra Group, you will drive growth within your assigned territory across Nutraceutical, Food & Beverage, Pet Food, Sports Nutrition, and Premix segments.This is a hands-on sales role focused on building a book of business. You will identify and win new customers while expanding existing accounts and contributing directly to revenue and gross profit.You will own your individual performance, including pipeline development, customer growth, and forecast accuracy. Success in this role comes from consistent activity, strong execution, and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.You will work closely with your Director of Sales to align on customers strategy, priorities, and execution. This includes regular communication on pipeline, customer activity, and market opportunities, while maintaining accountability for your individual results.This role requires a proactive approach to the market. You are expected to consistently prospect, create opportunities, and stay engaged with customers. You do not wait for business to come to you, you go out and find it.You will build strong relationships across Purchasing, R&D, and senior leadership within customer organizations, positioning Freemen Nutra as a trusted partner through market intelligence, product knowledge, innovation ingredients, and supply chain insight.In addition to customer-facing responsibilities, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, product management, innovation, marketing, quality, logistics, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution.The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and takes full ownership of their results. You are self-driven, competitive, and focused on continuous improvement.Travel is expected as needed to support customer development and overall territory growth.Key Responsibilities & Expectations Own individual performance within the assigned territory, including revenue, gross profit, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy.Build, manage, and grow a personal book of business through consistent prospecting and customer development.Drive new business by identifying, targeting, and converting high-potential customers across Nutraceutical, Food & Beverage, Pet Food, Sports Nutrition, and Premix segments.Expand existing accounts by identifying new opportunities, increasing share of wallet, and developing long-term customer relationships.Maintain a strong, active pipeline through daily prospecting, follow-up, and market engagement.Consistently meet or exceed activity expectations, including calls, outreach, meetings, and follow-ups.Ensure all customer interactions, pipeline activity, and opportunities are accurately tracked and maintained in CRM systems.Provide accurate and timely forecasts, maintaining visibility into short- and long-term opportunities.Develop and deliver competitive proposals and quotations aligned with customer needs and company objectives.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Purchasing, R&D, and senior leadership within customer organizations.Represent Freemen Nutra as a trusted partner by bringing value beyond price through market intelligence, product knowledge, and supply chain insight.Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, product management, marketing, quality, logistics, and finance teams to support customer needs and drive execution.Stay informed on market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive activity to support effective selling strategies.Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to build relationships and generate new opportunities.Travel up to 40%+, with additional travel as needed to drive new business and maintain strong customer relationships.Take full ownership of results, operating with a high level of accountability, urgency, and consistency.Requirements & Experience: 3 to 7+ years of experience in ingredient sales or a related B2B environment, with exposure to raw materials, functional ingredients, or premix solutions preferred.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving consistent growth.Experience working in Nutraceutical, Food & Beverage, Pet Food, Sports Nutrition, or broader CPG markets is preferred.Strong understanding of ingredient markets, including pricing, supply chain dynamics, and competitive landscape.Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, or ingredient supply environment is a plus.Ability to build and maintain a pipeline through proactive outreach and consistent follow-up.Experience using CRM and ERP systems to manage pipeline, track activity, and maintain accurate data.Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across different levels of an organization.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, quality, logistics, and finance teams.Adaptable, resilient, and able to handle challenges while maintaining focus on results.Existing industry relationships within the assigned territory is a plus.
