Financial: ControllerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Controller to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Hospital Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hospital, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. The controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.Departmental Stats:7 direct reports; 3 Accountants, 2 accounts payable clerks and one payroll coordinatorReport directly to the CFODaily Cash on Hand: 74 daysA/R days: 64 daysTotal Patient Revenue: 324 millionInformation system platforms: Payroll – Kronos, Hospital – Epic, and Financial – Multiview.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.4+ years of experience in healthcare finance, including general accounting, financial statements, budgets, cost reports, and a basic knowledge of reimbursement.Proficiency in Word and Excel.Preferred: Previous supervisory experience.Leadership Skill Set:Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement long-term financial strategies that align with the hospital's goals.Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing a high-performing finance team.Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of financial operations.Compensation:Salary: 150k-160KBonus PotentialBenefits, RetirementLocation:Nestled in a picturesque region renowned for its world-class vineyards, rolling hills, and vibrant farm to table dining, this location offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness.
