Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Bronx, NY 10461 Hours Per Week: 40.00 (5*8) Shift Time: NIGHT SHIFT 12:00 AM-8:00 AM Contract 14 weeks Schedule Notes: At least one (1) year CT Technologist experience - Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist - Post primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - NYS DOH Radiology Tech License Diagnostic with Injection Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures during the night shift. This role requires adherence to established imaging protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting timely and accurate diagnostic services in a hospital-based setting. Responsibilities " Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. " Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort, safety, and proper image acquisition. " Operate CT equipment and related imaging technology proficiently. " Administer contrast media as required, in compliance with licensure and safety guidelines. " Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. " Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control policies. " Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. " Perform routine equipment checks and report equipment issues as necessary. Requirements " One (1) year of CT Technologist experience. " Relevant experience with CT imaging equipment. " Ability to work a night shift schedule of 12:00 AM 8:00 AM, five (5) days per week, totaling 40 hours per week. " Compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Education: Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist, including approved military training programs. Certifications " Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). " Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. License: New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiology Technician License.
