CNC Lathe Machinist

CNC LATHE MACHINIST Job Description Ace Air Manufacturing is a precision machine shop for the Aerospace industry located in Gardena, California area. We machine aircraft parts, both commercial and military and are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist/Operator with a minimum of 5 years of experience for this position. Candidate needs some experience in machining castings, must be able to make their own set ups, and sample inspect their part to make sure they conform to the print. You will be responsible for your machine with minor maintenance like oiling, cleaning and adjustments. You must have your own tools. Job Type: Full-time This position starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 2:30 PM. When overtime is required, a 1-days notice will be given to you. Salary: $25.00 to $27.00 /hour. Pay Scale is based on your experience and ability. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must have a High School education or equivalent Must have at least 5 years of experience in CNC Machine Operation. Must have experience machining aluminum and steel castings. Must have 3 years experience of CNC machine programming Must have 3 years experience of CNC set-up Needs to have their own tools and be able to use and adjust them Must be able to use basic inspection tools, micrometers, calipers, height gages, sine plate etc. Must have experience with using shop math. Must be able to speak and read the English Language, reading drawings and specifications.
