Work closely with business teams to create secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions that align with enterprise standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business and AI innovation teams to develop secure GCP solutions.Design, implement, and support GCP services, focusing on IAM, networking, compute, storage, security, automation, logging, and monitoring.Establish and maintain practical GCP standards and guardrails.Create reference architectures, checklists, and recommended patterns.Advise on and promote safer alternatives to risky approaches.Communicate IT and security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Articulate tradeoffs, risks, and operational impacts of solutions.Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and architecture teams.Support a multi-cloud enterprise environment, including AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.Document patterns and decisions for reuse and operational handoff.QualificationsApproximately 5 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.Comfort working directly with senior business stakeholders.Strong consulting, communication, and influence skills.Solid understanding of enterprise IT governance and security practices.Google Cloud certifications (preferred, not required).Experience supporting AI or innovation initiatives.Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud enterprise environments.Experience in distribution, supply chain, or B2B environments.At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
