Food Runner/Busser
Hey Babe, we are a new restaurant/bar/lounge concept in the historic YMCA building in East Liberty. Our Dining Room Assistants work well in a fast-paced team environment and help create an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Dining Room Assistants remove tableware between courses and clear and reset tables after guests leave.
Dining Room Assistants take used silverware, dishes, and glassware to their appropriate stations for washing and restock appropriate areas.
Dining Room Assistants help servers with food delivery and, where applicable, bread service at tables.
Dining Room Assistants respond to guest requests and communicate with servers and hosts as needed to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
Stock bussing stations.
Clean stations, including sweeping floor using the tools provided.
Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary, such as expediting food to tables.
Requirements
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
Exceptional customer service skills
Restaurant experience not necessarily required
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Able to work in an environment that is frequently hot, humid, and loud
Excellent coordination and manual dexterity.
Must be able to stand and walk, including stairs throughout the entire shift.
Requires mobility to bend, stoop, grasp, reach, twist, and lift equipment or items.
Ability to withstand various degrees of temperatures during shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical strength to pull or push equipment as needed.
Ability to follow written directions, labels on chemicals/cleaning products, etc.
Ability to actively listen to others and respond verbally to request in a professional/effective manner.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Attending meetings as assigned.
May be required to perform any related duty as directed by management.

Position requires mobility and dexterity to bend, stoop, grasp, reach, twist, etc. One may be required to stand during the entire shift. Physical strength and capability to manually push, lift and transport items approximately 50 pounds (lifting) and 100 pounds (pushing).
