Join a dynamic team in a hospital and free-standing emergency department setting near Rockbridge Baths, Virginia.Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while enjoying the scenic beauty of this region.Job Highlights: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Shifts: Flexible schedules with 3-4 shifts per month, including nights.Typical shifts range between 8 to 12 hours.Coverage: Scheduled shifts only, no on-call requirements.Patient Volume: Average of 1.5-2.5 patients per hour.Facilities: Hospital with 40 beds and certified stroke center services.Free-standing emergency department with 19 beds.Requirements: Licenses & Certifications: Current Virginia state license.DEA license and Virginia CSR certification.ACLS and BLS certifications are required.Experience: At least 2 years of relevant logs are mandatory for consideration.Credentialing: Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days.Must submit timely responses to application requests.Additional Information: Must complete immunization requirements, including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Tetanus, Hep B, and COVID-19.Tuberculosis testing via T-Spot or QuantiFERON is required.Experience with Epic EMR preferred.APPs are encouraged to participate in ED code situations.Why This Opportunity?
