Senior Electrical Project Engineer

You'll be the go-to electrical engineering expert on a capable, low-attrition team — owning control panel design, PLC programming, and commissioning across a growing book of projects with marquee industrial clients.This role is for someone who loves the hands-on work. Management experience is not required — what matters here is deep technical knowledge, sharp troubleshooting instincts, and the ability to own a project from design through startup.What you'll ownElectrical design and review of control panel schematicsPLC programming across multiple platformsControl system architecture for industrial automation applicationsPanel manufacturing oversight and build quality assuranceHands-on troubleshooting on active projectsSystem integration of fans, motors, VFDs, and moving componentsControl system startup and commissioning supportFactory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and on-site startups (~1–2 days/week travel)Client-facing technical support and system handoff/trainingWhat we're looking forBSEE preferred; 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial controlsStrong background in control panel design and manufacturingHands-on PLC programming capability across multiple platformsExperience with motors, VFDs, and industrial automation systemsFamiliarity with UL/regulatory standards (UL583, UL2580, ANSI, ISO, European)Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to build qualityComfortable in a client-facing role during commissioning and FATWillingness to travel ~1–2 days/week for project startupsManagement experience is a plus — but not required
