ApplyDescriptionNOW HIRING Production Supervisor!Production Supervisor Summary:From $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experienceThe role of the shift supervisor is to assist in developing and driving a flexible, best in-class production environment producing a high-quality product with 100% on time delivery. Through best practice sharing, collaboration and application of Lean principles, the shift supervisor will use their expertise to develop and lead team members toward operational excellence throughout the production process.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist Production Manager in leading, managing and coordinating all shift activities and resources in the print manufacturing process and execute products that meet company standardsEnsures the Production Schedule is achieved and accurately identifies risks affecting the delivery of products and services to meet customer expectationsLead improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving throughput, increasing capacityMaintains Industry knowledge on new products (materials), technical print solutions and production processes to improve quality, yields and reduce costsEnsures all manufacturing equipment is maintained and operating at optimal performanceComplies with Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to Upper ManagementPartners with all members of management, to ensure inter-departmental processes are clearly understood, effective and reliableOther duties as assigned3rd shift hours 10:00pm-6:30amShift differential for 3rd shift.RequirementsBasic qualifications:Minimum of 1 years related supervisor experience, 2 years preferred.Strong leadership, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills requiredAbility to lead change processes & coach employeesExperienced in Microsoft Office SuitePractical knowledge of theory and principles of lean manufacturingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to speak, read and write EnglishAvailable for weekend work schedules and overtimeRequired to lift to a minimum of 50lbsRequired to follow safety instructions and adhere to safety procedures
