This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply!What you will be doing as an Accounts Payable Representative:Process invoices, credits, and purchase orders in compliance with financial policies and proceduresPerforming day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable dataPrepare bills, invoices, and bank depositsReconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly postedPrepare weekly reports for accountantsAssist with month-end reportsGenerate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable statusOur ideal Accounts Payable Representative has:Office software acumen - comfortable with a wide variety of software including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Google applications, and relevant databasesMathematical reasoning - facility with numbers, the proven ability to calculate, post, and manage figures and records, and the ability to choose the right mathematical methods to solve a problem.Attention to detail - careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasksCustomer service orientation - proactively assist clients in a professional, friendly manner in order to create the best possible experience by understanding quality standards for service and utilizing customer needs assessmentsNegotiation - skillfully conduct deals or sales with others, both inside and outside the organization, to arrive at a mutually satisfactory settlementSalary: $40,000-50,000/yr + BenefitsRequirements to be an Accounts Payable Representative:Bachelor's degree in AccountingKatapult Network is an equal-opportunity employer and celebrates diversity in all of its forms.
