Fire Stopping Installer

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking fire-stopping installer who is looking for growth to join our teamResponsibilitiesReview and understand safety on the job siteCoordinate the installation process at the job site (unload equipment, place the hose in the location of installation, etc.)Use basic trade math fundamentals to assist the supervisor with costsInspection of firewalls per NFPA codeProviding accurate documentation for customers' code complianceMaintain professional, timely communication with customersReview and learn blueprinting, sketching, perspectives, and terminologyDevelop an understanding of the relationship between cost, blueprintin,g reading, and material estimatingPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Must have at least six months of construction experienceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to read and use a tape measure, and ability to read measurements off of a blueprint.Must have a form of dependable transportation; must travel out of town, both on overnight and one-day trips.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
