(DOE)Put Your Boiler, Piping, and Mechanical Skills to Work in a Stable Manufacturing EnvironmentWe’re looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with proven experience supporting industrial boiler systems, piping infrastructure, and production machinery in a high‑volume manufacturing facility in Lafayette, IN. This is a hands‑on role for a technician who enjoys working on critical plant equipment and taking ownership of system reliability, safety, and uptime.If you have strong mechanical ability, pipefitting experience, and a solid understanding of industrial equipment, this is a long‑term opportunity with excellent pay and first‑shift hours.What You’ll Do:Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial boiler systems, steam, and fluid distribution equipmentInstall, thread, run, and repair piping systems (black pipe, stainless steel, copper)Troubleshoot and maintain industrial machinery and equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsPerform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptimeRebuild and install gearboxes, pumps, bearings, shafts, motors, and couplersPerform maintenance welding (MIG, Stick, TIG) on equipment and piping systemsAlign and balance rotating equipment and motorsMaintain lubrication schedules and accurate maintenance documentationAssist with equipment installations, startups, shutdowns, and plant improvement projectsFollow all OSHA and company safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environmentProvide hands‑on technical support to operations and maintenance teammatesWhat We’re Looking For (Must‑Have Experience):2–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceDemonstrated hands‑on experience with boilers, piping systems, and pipefittingStrong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining industrial machinery and equipmentWelding experience (MIG, Stick, TIG preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationComfortable working at heights up to 80 feetAbility to lift and move 50+ lbs. regularlyFamiliarity with preventive maintenance programs and industrial safety standardsWillingness to obtain RCRA and Mobile Equipment CertificationsWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Top‑of‑range pay up to $44/hr.First‑shift schedule – no rotating or overnight shiftsCritical role supporting boiler systems, piping infrastructure, and core manufacturing equipmentStable, growth‑oriented manufacturing operationFull benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, paid holidaysSafety‑first culture with a collaborative, skilled maintenance teamLong‑term career growth and continued technical skill development
