HPC System Engineer

Job Description: Position: Applications Engineer Location: Austin, TX (hybrid) Duration: 6+ months contract position Client: Direct Client Requirements: · Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience) · Strong set of Linux administration skills · Good knowledge in cloud environment and HPC · Customer focused attitude · Solid understanding on Linux OS fundamentals, solving various applications related issues · Good understanding of HPC infrastructure and applications concepts · Strong scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Python, Perl, etc.) · Exposure to HPC applications like Flex based Licenses, EDA tools and jobs schedulers like LSF are desirable · Good understanding in building open source tools like Python, GCC and LLVM · Skills and attitude on automating common repetitive tasks · A suitable sense of ownership and responsibility in driving tasks to timely full Completion Job Type: Contract Experience: HPC: 3 years (Required) Linux: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
