Overview & Position SummaryThis role supports the execution of residential construction activities by assisting with day-to-day field operations under direct supervision. The position contributes to schedule, quality, and safety objectives while gaining foundational experience in homebuilding processes and site management. The role works closely with superintendents, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure work is completed in accordance with plans and standards. Emphasis is placed on learning, skill development, and building core construction management capabilities.Primary ResponsibilitiesExecute daily residential construction activities for assigned homes in accordance with established schedules, plans, and company quality standards.Coordinate trade partner activities and verify completion of work in accordance with approved scopes and timelines.Perform routine inspections and report quality, safety, or plan deviations to the supervisor.Monitor jobsite safety and cleanliness and support enforcement of OSHA and company safety programs.Assist with scheduling and supporting municipal inspections and permit-related activities.Participate in homeowner orientations and walk-throughs, escalating concerns as appropriate.Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, schedules, and inspection records as directed.Support team workflow by identifying issues and assisting with corrective actions.Provide mentorship and training to Assistant Superintendents.Perform other duties as assigned. Education & ExperienceRequiredHigh School Diploma or GED.Up to 1 year of relevant residential construction or field management experience at a Superintendent level.PreferredBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; or 4 years of equivalent experience.Experience managing multiple homes or production schedules simultaneouslySkills & CompetenciesBasic knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencingStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple homes and production schedules simultaneouslyEffective verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn and develop construction management expertiseBasic problem-solving and analytical skillsAttention to detail and quality awarenessAbility to collaborate with field teams and trade partnersAbility to communicate and interact with customers effectively.Self-motivated and possess strong work ethic. Working Conditions This position is primarily based in active residential construction sites with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and dust. Some office or trailer-based work may be required for documentation and coordination.
