About the JobRegistered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) | NightsPOSITION SUMMARY:This LDRP role supports comprehensive maternal and newborn care, including OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care.This position does not require circulating or scrubbing in the OR.The RN will provide patient-centered care within the scope of practice defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities also include patient education, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality outcomes.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage patient care across OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery servicesApply the nursing process to deliver safe and effective maternal and newborn careEducate patients, family members, and support persons regarding care plans and treatmentDocument all patient care accurately in the medical recordCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate overall patient careUtilize OBIX for fetal surveillance and Epic for electronic health record documentationSUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience requiredCurrent fetal heart monitoring experience requiredBLS (AHA) requiredNRP requiredActive Oregon RN License required (or willing to obtain)HIGHLY PREFERRED:OBIX experienceEpic EMR experienceEFM certificationSTABLE certificationREQUIRED DOCUMENTS:Updated ResumeSkills Checklist (current within 1 year)Certifications (not required to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain)Oregon RN License (not required to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain)
