And so are your options.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform multipoint inspectionsCommunicate additional service/repair needs to service advisorsService universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease gunsInspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentiasl, rear axle housings and shacklesCheck tire pressureLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsDrain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oilAdd water to radiator and batteryReplace oil and air filtersInspect all vehicles for additional repairsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conductFollow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicalsCompensationAverage pay is $700/week paid weekly(roughly $3000/month!!)QualificationsMust meet dealership's requirements for employmentAbility to read/comprehend written instructions and informationFamiliarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenanceMust have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissionsPrior experience as a technician's helper or apprentice preferred but not necessaryEffective communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Requirements/Working ConditionsOccasional exposure to inclement weatherAbility to operate an automobileProlonged periods of standing, stooping and bendingExerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
