NG911 / ESInet & Emergency Communications Consultant - MI - GT-CD-2026-002

We are looking for an experienced NG911 / ESInet & Emergency Communications Consultant for an upcoming public safety technology consulting opportunity.This role will support advisory, procurement review, implementation oversight, and acceptance testing activities related to Next Generation 9-1-1 and emergency communications infrastructure.Required Experience:5+ years of experience with 9-1-1, NG911, ESInet, emergency dispatch, or public safety communications systemsStrong understanding of NG911-compliant call-handling equipment and supporting infrastructureFamiliarity with NENA i3 standards, APCO standards, FCC requirements, and emergency communications best practicesExperience reviewing technical specifications, vendor proposals, implementation plans, and system requirementsAbility to support acceptance testing criteria, system validation, and technical recommendationsPrior consulting or advisory work for counties, municipalities, regional authorities, or emergency communications agencies preferredImportant Conflict Requirement:Candidates must have no current financial, ownership, employment, or contractual relationship with vendors or manufacturers likely to participate in related procurements. Vendor relationships from the past three years must be disclosed.
