Mechanical Design Engineer

MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT).Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as an Mechanical Design EngineerKey Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and assembliesProvide technical expertise across sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and optical systemsDevelop detailed CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentationSupport production and manufacturing teams with design for manufacturabilityMentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practicesApply advanced engineering analysis and problem-solving techniquesRequired Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experienceProficiency in Siemens NXHigh expertise in at least one additional CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo, NX (preferred)Proven experience designing for complex systems and applicationsBachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
