OHUSC Sub custodian
Must pass a mandated criminal history background check. Must have the ability to work well withchildren, faculty and staff. Inappropriate language or lewd conduct will not be tolerated. Professionalismis a must. The elementary 1st shift custodian will manage day-to-day maintenance and custodialconcerns throughout the property. The 1st shift Custodian is considered to be the Lead Employee. Allconcerns will go through Lead custodian first, when building issues arise. While we understand the bulkof cleaning is done on non-student shifts, some cleaning may be neccessary on 1st shift. Mantenancethat is outside the managed scope of the custodian may be directed to the OHUSC MaintenanceDepartment by way of communication or through the work order process. Custodians will addessemail/radio requests as well as work order requests for their building and grounds. General workschedule is Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3pm. Other shifts can/will be adjusted to meet the needs of eachof the buildings. Exceptions to hours can be made by contacting the Maintenance Director and BuildingPrincipal. Holidays and scheduled student days off change each year. A calender will be availible onlineas well as placed throughout each building. Vacations should be approved by Director of Maintenance.Lead Custodian and Building Principal should also be notified. Call-offs for a sick day or a personal dayshould be done by text or phone call to Lead, Director and Principal.
