Maintenance Technician
Essential Duties
Overall maintenance and upkeep of our 2 warehouse facilities, HVAC, and Warehouse Machinery (ex. conveyor belts, forklift equipment).
Responsible for repair, trouble shooting, diagnosis, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems
Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
Perform corrective and planned maintenance on the buildings on an ongoing basis:
fix conveyor belts
maintain/repair PIT (forklift) equipment
spackle /paint
build A frames/pallets
replace lightbulbs, address restroom doors/locks, windows, repairs as need
Qualifications
Clear communication skills
Interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the team.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum (1) years of relevant work experience required, including:
Knowledge of, and experience with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics systems.
Able to read building and equipment blueprints and schematics.
Skilled in working with handheld power and industrial tools, grout, caulk, and other industrial construction materials.
Proficient with reading orders; taking and reading measurements; basic math skills
Trade School Certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or another related field is a plus.

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations in a warehouse environment:
exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 pounds.
motor coordination.
able to scale typical warehouse heights using a scissors lift.
