Your role will involve crafting, developing, and implementing control systems for electricity and automation solutions in various industrial projects. This role involves crafting detailed electrical builds, diagrams, and user manuals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to project completion from beginning to end.How You'll Make an ImpactBuild and develop electrical control systems for industrial automation projects.Develop intricate schematics, wiring diagrams, panel arrangements, and BOMs using CAD software (like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Microstation).Specify and select control hardware including PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and safety devices.Collaborate multi-functionally with mechanical, software, and project engineers to ensure coordinated system delivery.Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, BS EN, UL) and customer specifications.Support panel build, FAT, and site commissioning to ensure flawless project execution.What You BringDegree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related fieldValidated experience in electrical design for industrial control systemsProficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similarKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus)Familiarity with safety systems and standards, including SIL and functional safetyStrong understanding of electrical regulations and compliance standardsAbout the TeamIn our Gas Services department, we specialise in environmentally friendly power generation through maintenance and decarbonisation efforts.
