AB Staffing is seeking a qualified IM or FP provider who has a geriatrics focus to fill a position at the Veteran Affairs skilled nursing facility in Fresno, CA. Fresno serves as a home base for Yosemite National Park, one of the great natural wonders of our country with its waterfalls and giant rock formations. Details of the position are as follows: - Hours are M-F 8:00 am to 4:30pm (no call, no weekends plenty of time to explore!)- Physician sees patients daily, a combination of scheduled and walk ins geriatric focus- Physician must be BC/BE - ANY STATE LICENSE ACCEPTED!- Initial 6 month commitment with extensions available- Pay rate contingent on provider location- Physician will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients residing onsite in the Community Living Center. - Direct Patient Care: 100% of the time involved in direct patient care. - Medical management and treatment for patients admitted to the skilled nursing home for IV antibiotics, rehab, wound care, palliative and hospice care. - Admissions and Discharges to and from the Community Living Center (CLC). - Unit Rounds.
