General maintenance tasks will be asked of everyone.Resource's typical working day:Preventative maintenance work- Air handling units- Boilers- Humidification systemGeneral maintenance as neededReactive work as neededDaily roundsManaging daily work ordersLicenses/Certifications:EPA Universal LicenseDriver's licenseMust Have Skills:Heavy understanding of HVACGeneral maintenance skills- Light plumbing- Light electricalTrouble shooting skillsNice to have skills:Commercial experience with HVACMaximo experienceAerial lift certificationTrained in fall protectionFork lift certifiedSoft Skills:Excellent customer service skillsProfessional attitudeYears of Experience:5-7 yearsEducationh.s. diploma or GED, trade school preferredSoftware skills:Phone app management skillsBasic computer skillsInterview Process: 1st round in-person2nd round if neededAbout the Role:As a HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.What You'll Do:•Assign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done in a timely manner.•Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.•Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.•Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.•Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.•Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.•Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
