We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care at our clinic located within the Providence Portland Medical Center Campus. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while working with a supportive and expert team. In this role, you will be responsible for direct patient consultations, management of scheduled rheumatology cases within Epic, and responding to patient messages to ensure comprehensive care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for rheumatology. Required Skills: Active Oregon State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license DEA Certification Board Certified provider status BLS certification At least one year of rheumatology-specific clinical experience Proficiency in electronic medical records, particularly Epic Strong patient communication and assessment skills Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working within hospital outpatient departments Additional certifications related to rheumatology or chronic disease management Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Experience with care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner Program More than one year of rheumatology clinical practice Prior outpatient clinic experience in a hospital setting Other Requirements: Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 8 hours Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, including a one-hour lunch) Timely submission of all privileging documentation for hospital credentialing Willingness to adhere to hospital outpatient department policies This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to exceptional patient care and professional growth.
