Job Description JOB RESPONSIBLITIES / HIGHLIGHTSIdeal for students or early‐career professionals pursuing careers in therapy or healthcareGain hands‐on clinical experience working directly with children with autism in a supportive therapy environment.Assist licensed clinicians during therapy sessions by practicing and observing a variety of evidence‐based therapy interventions and techniques.Prepare therapy materials and organize treatment spaces as directed by clinical staff.Collaborate with therapists to support speech, language, and occupational therapy goals through creative activities and engagement strategies.Practice professional and effective communication with families, who are actively involved in treatment sessions.Collect clinical data and review session documentation across Speech‐Language Pathology (SLP), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) disciplines.Observe autism diagnostic evaluations (ADOS), as well as speech, language, and occupational therapy evaluations, when available.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong interest in pursuing a career in pediatric autism therapy, behavioral health, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or related healthcare fieldsPrior experience working with children in a clinical, educational, childcare, or caregiving setting preferredBasic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong communication skills, professionalism, and willingness to learn under supervisionAbility to actively engage with children in therapy sessions, including floor play and movement‐based activitiesFully up to date on all required vaccinationsCompany DescriptionAt Arbor Autism Centers, we are passionate about providing multi-disciplinary autism therapies and family education within a collaborative environment.
