As a Physical Therapist you are responsible for assessing the need for, developing and delivering physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary environment including:· Developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance· Identifying need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the needs of the patient· Instructing, educating and training patients and caregivers in the essential skills and functions needed to promote patient independence, productivity, and quality of life.· Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standardsPosition RequirementsValid physical therapy license in New York of practice, or eligibility to applyGraduation from an accredited physical therapy programBasic computer literacy skillsCurrent CPR certificationAble to wear PPE, including, but not limited to masks, face shields, goggles, gloves, and gowns as mandated.We are a top performing skilled nursing facility that promotes a high quality of care.
