Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed Schedule: Every other weekend On-Call: Possible Openings: 1 Position Overview Seeking an experienced Stepdown RN to join the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), caring for a high-acuity cardiac population. The unit manages over 4,000 cardiology patients annually and supports advanced procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers. Nurses also care for open heart patients (18–24 hours post-op), CHF patients, and electrophysiology cases. This is a high-performing unit recognized with the AACN Beacon Award and part of a Top 50 Heart Hospital system. Requirements 1 year of Stepdown experience ( required ) Strong cardiac proficiency ( required ) Travel experience ( required ) EKG interpretation skills ( required ) Willingness to float to similar units ( required ) Active Michigan RN license ( required ) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Additional Details Skills checklist (within 1 year) required Must provide Michigan license verification (LARA Nursys) Former McLaren employees must be separated for at least 6 months Days and Nights available!
