DOJ Account Director of Growth

Location: Washington, DC (hybrid)Clearance: Active DOJ clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust is strongly preferredType: Full-TimeWe are seeking a strategic and driven DOJ Account Director - Growth to lead growth efforts within the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and its sub-agencies. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of DOJ’s mission, procurement landscape, and IT modernization priorities. You will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities, building trusted relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role reports to our Chief Growth Officer and partners closely with our solution architect, proposal, and delivery teams. You’ll have executive visibility and autonomy to help shape our DOJ go-to-market strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and pursue IT services opportunities across DOJ components (e.g., FBI, DEA, ATF, USMS, EOIR, BOP, OJP).Develop and execute account plans aligned with DOJ’s strategic initiatives and technology needs.Build and maintain strong relationships with DOJ stakeholders, program managers, and contracting officers.Lead capture efforts including opportunity shaping, teaming, and proposal strategy.Collaborate with internal solution architects and SMEs to develop tailored offerings.Monitor DOJ budgets, forecasts, and procurement activity to inform pipeline development.Represent the company at DOJ-focused industry events, conferences, and networking forums.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience in federal business development, with at least 2 years focused on DOJ or law enforcement agencies OR 5+ years’ experience working for DOJ in a senior capacityDeep understanding of DOJ’s mission, organizational structure, and acquisition processes.Familiarity with DOJ contract vehicles (e.g., ITSS-5, BPA/IDIQs, GSA MAS).Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Active DOJ clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust is strongly preferred.Preferred ExperienceExisting relationships with DOJ program managers and contracting officers.Knowledge of DOJ’s IT priorities such as digital modernization, cybersecurity, AI initiatives, and data analytics.Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools for pipeline management.Prior experience as a DOJ contracting officer, COR, or program manager.Demonstrated track record of $25M+ individual captures or $100M+ annual pipeline ownership.Why ImprovixAt Improvix Technologies, we don’t just deliver IT solutions — we deliver mission success.
