Patient Care Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:The role of the Patient Care Nursing Assistant is integral to Glenbeigh's Mission to provide quality patient care to our community. We are looking for a compassionate, energetic person to join us in providing the most compassionate care to our patients!Duties:* Performs various patient care activities and related services under the direction of licensed staff. Duties include ADLs, vitals, EKGs, drug screens, patient searches, glucose checks and other direct patient care duties as assigned.Experience/Requirements* High School diploma or GED required.* Certification as a PCT, MA, or CNA preferred* Basic computer skills required* Strong interpersonal and communications skills.* At least one year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients strongly desired.Required Licensure or Certification* BLS certification to be obtained during orientation required.Required Physical and Environmental Demands* This job requires the ability to walk six to eight miles in an eight-hour shift and to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.* This job also requires that an individual be able to work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment.The role of the Patient Care Nursing Assistant is integral to ACMC's Mission to provide quality patient care to our community.
