Space Cybersecurity Engineer (Intelligence Center)
Overview
In this role you will define and develop cybersecurity requirements for space systems and translate cybersecurity into architecture-level decisions. You will build capabilities and validate them within space architectures, working closely with MBSE/modeling teams to ensure traceability from capability to system elements. You will help measure cybersecurity effectiveness and support mission assurance across the space life cycle, contributing to a safer and more secure national space program.

ResponsibilitiesDefine and develop Space Systems cybersecurity requirements using systems engineering principlesDevelop Space system cybersecurity capabilities for architecture-level constructsDefine how cybersecurity capabilities are evaluated and validated within Space systemsDefine measurable outcomes for cybersecurity effectiveness (containment, detection, mission impact)Integrate with MBSE/modeling teams to ensure accurate representation of cybersecurity capabilities, trust boundaries, and enforcement points, with full traceability from capability through architecture to system elements
