Medical Technologist Location: Grand Haven, MI Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,482 to $1,682 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by the client. Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. State laboratory licensure where applicable for the assigned department or location. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist. Client preference for experience in generalist hospital lab environments. Experience with Meditech required. BLS certification required. Willingness to work scheduled evenings and 1.5 weekends per month as required by the client. (Preferred: experience in acute care hospital settings.) Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Evenings. Shift Details: Evenings 14:30–23:00. Alternate schedule may include 12:30–21:00 as client specifies. Weekend Requirement: Approximately 1.5 weekends per month. Start: Assignment begins in May 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Float Requirement: Candidates may be required to float within the client system when needed. Location Highlights Grand Haven, MI offers coastal recreation and easy access to regional parks.
