Find your future with us.Overview The Boeing Company is looking for a System Application Analyst to join our team in Berkeley, MO . This position supports the Test Operations & Engineering Systems & Tools team, working across the enterprise for Air Dominance Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E). The successful candidate will join a geographically dispersed and multidisciplinary infrastructure team that is responsible for developing and supporting engineering products used by design, manufacturing, and industrial engineers, as well as technicians and mechanics who support BT&E test labs. The role will research complex processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design, and will consult with customers to clarify and refine their true requirements. It will interpret and translate those complex requirements into functional specifications, with a key focus on developing and executing tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Core tasks include development of systems diagrams for Test Operations & Engineering that can integrate with IT and business systems, including creating from scratch low-level logical models, physical models, system interface diagrams, and system of systems (SoS) diagrams. The candidate will use DESE (Digital Enterprise Systems Engineering) to provide the full SoS solution with a single integrated model. The ideal candidate will fill the role of Systems Integration, Verification, Validation and test, help with vision planning and road-mapping activities for the Test Operations & Engineering solutions, implement the systems, tools, training, and processes to support those strategies, and be a focal point for integrating these plans with other elements within the organization and across business partners to support Air Dominance BT&E functional excellence. They will develop and execute tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level System Application Analysts.Position Responsibilities Develops an intimate knowledge of core systems such as GOLD, VSVT, OWB, CMES, MESci, & BLISDevelops the Systems Vision Plan and Roadmap for Test Ops & Engineering organizationCoordinates with business partners to understand their engineering and operations requirementsTranslates customer requirements into instrumentation solutionsDevelops strategies for integrating legacy systems into next generation systemsLeads the development of system optimization processesCapable of reproducing, troubleshooting and diagnosing system issuesDevelops and executes system test plans based on requirementsLeads the user acceptance testing teamCreates and contributes to the core training materialsTechnical Skills Expert building relationships with customers/ end users to gather and document functional & non-functional requirementsExpert at understanding the inter-relationships between components of systems, and plans and anticipates future events to create effective test plansExpert developing/implementing new processes across an organizationExpert developing Systems Diagrams, including Interface Diagrams, and System of Systems DiagramsExpert at collecting and using data to evaluate system effectiveness and issuesExpert with Cameo, or Visio, or similar softwareExpert running SQL commandsExpert with HTML and web browser dev tools to reproduce and diagnose issuesExpert data flow and data mapping skillsExperience working with engineering softwareExperience with software development tools Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, Toad, and SeleniumExperience with OAuth and SSOExperience working with API's using Postman and Swagger documentationExperience with Agile methodology (and Git/ADO/Jira)Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite of AppsKnowledge of test automation softwareThis position is hybrid.
